New French mission off Libya

This morning we’ve tracked from Istres AB, southern France, to the Strait of Sicily, a French Air Force Boeing C-135FR ” Stratotanker “ (738). The aircraft followed the usual route used by French tankers in flight to Libya.

The aircraft is departed at 10:13 CST and is disappeared around 11:41 CET when it was in flight off western Libya.

The mission is now (13:45 local time) still in progress. The Stratotanker is not alone and we can suppose that in the area there are probably other French aircraft.
