Today also a Turkish Navy CASA CN-235 MSA (reg. TCB-651 – callsign TURNA48), the same type of aircraft that made the same mission yesterday, is making a patrol mission over eastern Mediterranean Sea south of Cyprus.
The CASA is based in NAS Izmit.
Turkey confirms to continue with its drilling program in areas of the East Mediterranean claimed by Cyprus, despite the EU Council adopting a framework for sanctions that can be imposed against those held responsible.
