Today for the first time after some months we have tracked a US SOCOM (Special Operations Command) flight to Libya.

The Dornier C-146A (reg. 12-3050 – callsign GLASS30) left Stuttgart and, after a stop in Sigonella around 13:00 CET, landed in Benghazi, Libya.

Around 18:00 CET the Dornier left the Libyan city for NAS Sigonella where it landed at 18:54 CET.

We don’t know the nature of the mission.

(thanks to our friend Sergio Scandura)
