New Italian mission to Misrata

Today we’ve tracked a new flight of an Italian Air Force Lockheed C-130J (MM62180) to Misrata, Libya.

The aircraft, departed from Pisa San Giusto Ab is landed in Misurata around 14:00 CEST and left the Libyan city around 17:00 CEST.

It was a flight with supplies for the Italian military field hospital in Misrata. No other Italian aircraft have been tracked in the area.

The Italian medical team consists of 70 doctors and nurses as well as 135 service staffers in all different sections of the hospital.

Around 19:00 CEST the Hercules is landed in Pratica di Mare AB, south of Rome.
