A collaborator of the magazine Scramble found a photo of a MiG-21MF (serial 8622) pole mounted at the gate of Berenice airport (Egypt).

The aircraft looks like the same aircraft caught in a photo in the last Novembre in the same airport: a former Libyan National Army (LNA) Air Force MiG-21MF (serial 22) transfered to the LNA A.F. in 2015.

It was last noted in Libya in January 2017.

Berenice is considered the largest military base in the Red Sea, the largest naval base in the Middle East and North Africa, and the second of its kind in Egypt.
