US eyes on Crimea

Double surveillance mission over Black Sea this morning for US forces: a US Navy Boeing P-8A departed around 08:00 CET is making a SIGINT ( SIGnals INTelligence ) mission off Crimea.

At the same time, around 07:00 CET, a USAF Boeing RC-135W ( 62-4134 ) left Souda Bay AB to make a similar mission.

In the past Russian Su-27 fighter jets (departed from Belbek AB) intercepted US reconnaissance planes operating over Black Sea.
