This morning we’re tracking interesting traffic over eastern Mediteranean Sea off Syria: a USNavy Boeing P-8A departed from NAS Sigonella is making an usual SIGINT mision off Russian installation in Syria (Latakia AB and Tartus navy facility).

At the same time a French Air Force VFW Transall C-160NG “Gabriel” (F216), departed from RAF Akrtori, is making a similar mission futher south in the area where is underway the French Navy carrier “Charles de Gaulle” (R-91) and its Combat Strike group.
