USAF C-17A mission in Benghazi

Yesterday evening we’ve tracked an USAF Boeing C-17A  “Globemaster”( 08-8190 , callsign RCH346) from Ramstein AB, Germany, in flight east of Sicily southbound. The track was lost at 18:44 CET but the route was the usual route to Benghazi.

And in fact after 3 hours (at 21:32 CET) the Globemaster is appeared again but this time in the opposite direction. The aircraft is finally landed in NAS Rota, Spain.

We don’t know the nature of the mission but in the past we’ve already tracked similar USAF flights to Benghazi.
