New “ghost “flight to eastern Libya

This morning we’re tracking the umpteenth flight from UAE to Benghazi: the Zetavia Ilyushin Il-76TD (UR-CIG) is departed from Aqaba, Jordan, after a brief stop (it was departed initially from Abu Dhabi) this night around 05:00 CET and now is back to Jordan and probably to UAE.

We have no track about its departure airport but probably is Benghazi or an airfield in the eastern Libya.

Is the third flight in three days on this route for this aircraft.

We don’t know the nature of the flight but the suspicion is that these flights carry arms and ammunition to Libya, effectively violating the UN embargo which, at the moment, seems to be not respected by either party in the conflict.
