“FORTE” unusual route

Yesterday, around 23:30 CET an USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4A (reg. 10-2021 – callsign “FORTE10”) left NAS Sigonella for the usual surveillance mission around Russian enclave of Kaliningrad.

Usually the drone flies over eastern Europe to Baltic Sea. This time the Global Hawk followed a different route over western Europe: it’s not the first time that we track “FORTE” on this route but it is however unusual.
