Double surveillance mission

Double surveillance mission today for United States aircraft departed from NAS Sigonella.

This early morning an #USAF Northrop Grumman RQ-4B “Global Hawk” (11-2048) left sicilian airport to make a surveillance mission over eastern Ukraine.

A second part of the mission will be made off Crimea over Black Sea.

Around 12 AM also an US Navy Boeing P-8A “Poseidon” ( 169002 ) left Sigonella to make a surveillance mission in this area: the aircraft will make an ISR mission over Black Sea off Crimea coast.
