Poseidon ISR mission off Syria

This morning a USNavy Boeing P-8A (169002) is departed from NAS Sigonella, Sicily, to make an ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconaissance) mission off Syria.

The mission was made off Lebanon and specially off Russian military installations in Syria:

  • Tartus: Russian navy facility
  • Latakia: Russian Air Force air base
